About our brand
Most people have a vision, a dream, or a goal, that seems to most to be impossible. As former college hockey players building a brand out of our dorm room, we strive to fight against the odds, rise up, and accomplish our wildest dreams. We created Underdog Performance Drink so you can too. Our mission is simple–serve the overlooked–the athletes grinding for their shot, the unsung heroes who fight for our communities every day, or simply those who are battling the adversities of daily life.
As a part of our Underdog ethos, we donate cans to those making an impact—first responders, nurses, and other frontline workers—because real change takes real energy.
The Beginning
Underdog started from humble beginnings — out of Joey’s parents’ house, with nothing more than a box of clothing and a big idea. The mission was simple: inspire the next generation of athletes who were fighting the odds. What began as a small apparel line wasn’t about fashion — it was about belief. Every shirt and hoodie carried a message: that no matter where you come from, or how stacked the odds may be, you have the power to rise, to compete, and to prove yourself.

Dylan, also a former college hockey player, has always been obsessed with what fuels performance. You’ll find him diving into new ideas, testing out the latest in supplements, and connecting with people who share that same relentless mindset.
